First Success Workshop
Laurel Kashinn conducted the Book Publishing workshop at the inaugural meeting of the Milwaukee group, Write Stuff Now. Held at the beautiful new Lower Education Center at GreenSquare Center for the Healing Arts in Glendale.
The new Milwaukee area Meetup group, “Write Stuff Now,” had its inaugural meeting with Write Stuff’s Book Publishing Workshop last night, with 5 members in attendance, plus the presenter, Laurel Kashinn, and Nathan Fischer. Laurel shared information about creating a strategy to get from having a great idea for a book all the way through to publication and beyond. The group talked about getting over obstacles, finding inspiration, a new way to think about “success,” the business of book publishing, self publishing v. traditional publishing, blogging, ebooks, and more. Write Stuff will be offering the Publishing Workshop again on February 6. Write Stuff’s Success Workshops offer low-cost continuing education plus great networking!
