FAQ Resume Writing
How long does it take to get my finished résumé?
Usually the résumé is completed the same day, by the end of your writing session. A writing session appointment that is just for a résumé averages 2 1/2 to 3 hours; add another hour to 90 minutes if you’re getting the full package including the LinkedIn profile update with training.
What should I have prepared for my Writing Appointment?
Refer to our Resume Organizer Checklist for a detailed list of items and information that you should have prepared prior to your appointment.
What are your hours of operation?
Currently we schedule Résumé Writing Appointments on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and occasionally other days as scheduling permits. Ideally, appointments begin at 10 am or 11 am in the morning CST, and run for 3 to 4 hours. Contact us if you need to meet at a time that is later or earlier.
Do I have to be present for the Writing Appointment?
Because we use a double-team approach to the résumé writing with the goal of creating the most accurate and effective document, and because it is your résumé, yes, you need to be present for most of the writing session. Most of our clients appreciate getting it done in one session; however, if we need to break up the writing over the course of two or more appointments to accommodate your schedule, we can be flexible.

What does your résumé service cost?
Please contact us for the latest price list. Prices range from approximately $250 for students and new grads up to $2,500 or more for a graphic résumé. Most average under $500.
